Stop by the Port of Galilee in Narragansett, take a right out of the Town Dock, and hop on the ferry. One hour and 15 miles later, you’ll land on an island. Not just any island—Block Island—a quintessential Rhode Island getaway, a summer staple, and home to an array of beaches, shops, and wonderful restaurants. The Nature Conservancy has even named Block Island one of the original “Last Great Places” in the Western Hemisphere!

This Sunday, June 12th marks the beginning of Block Island Restaurant Week. With over 20 participating restaurants on the island, you can enjoy three-course prix-fixe lunches from $10 to $14 and dinners from $21 to $29. These restaurants not only provide a fantastic value, but a wide variety of different cuisines and ambiance. Looking for some classic romance? Look no further than Manisses on Spring Street. For seafood, stop by Kimberly’s on Ocean Ave, Rebecca's Seafood on Water Street, Finn’s Seafood on Water Street, or Restaurant 1879 of The Atlantic Inn on High Street. The weeklong event comes to a close on Friday, June 17th.

We invite you to see and experience Block Island for yourself this week! Marvel at the beaches, visit the shops, and most importantly – try the Rhode Island seafood. We’ll see you there!
