New England is home to some of the best restaurants in the U.S. and Rhode Island’s very own Newport County is a perfect example. The Town Dock team looks forward to celebrating and supporting this wonderful culinary destination with this year’s Newport Restaurant Week. We love having the opportunity to celebrate local Rhode Island food and try new restaurants during both the spring and fall Restaurant Week events held each year. Town Dock, the industry’s leading calamari supplier located in Narragansett, is proud to sponsor the spring event that runs from Friday, April 1st to Sunday, April 10th.
According to Discover Newport, Newport Restaurant Week debuted in Rhode Island in 2006 as part of a nationwide movement to encourage both residents and visitors to experience the culinary talent of this destination. There are more than 50 participating restaurants in both Newport and Bristol counties offering three-course prix fix lunches for $16 and dinners for $35. Have a specific cuisine in mind? You’ll have a variety of options to choose from including French, Mexican, and American specialties at different restaurants such as Le Central in Bristol, Diego’s in Newport, and The Boat House in Tiverton. No matter where you go, this Restaurant Week is sure to be another success!
