Here at The Town Dock, we believe in building a strong community, both on and off the water. That's why we recently rolled out the fun with a company bowling night at Kingstown Bowl in North Kingstown on Tuesday, February 18. The timing was perfect, too, as the kids were on winter break, making it a true family affair.
We had a fantastic turnout, with approximately 40 Town Dock employees and their families joining us for an evening of friendly competition and camaraderie. Of course, no Town Dock event is complete without delicious food, so pizza and drinks were available, too.
While we're not entirely sure if anyone bowled a perfect 300 (though we saw plenty of enthusiastic attempts!), the focus was definitely on having a great time. Cheering erupted with every strike and spare, and we were all smiles regardless of our scores. There was even a rumor of a former league bowler among us, whose score far exceeded the rest! And one lane provided some extra entertainment when the ball return decided to get a little too enthusiastic. Thankfully, no toes were harmed in the overflowing.
Events like this are a testament to our commitment to employee engagement. We value our Town Dock family, and the positive feedback we received confirms the desire for more gatherings like this. This bowling night was a wonderful way to kick off 2025, and we're already looking forward to our next outing, a P-Bruins game at the Amica Center in Providence. We're hoping for another great turnout and many more successful and fun-filled company events.
