In 1980, founder Noah Clark took a job cleaning fish at the dock in Wickford, Rhode Island, to support his family while chasing a dream in music. The band never made it big - but something else did.
What started on that small-town dock has grown into a globally recognized seafood company known for its exceptional calamari. Today, we are based in the Port of Galilee, on Point Judith, in Narragansett, Rhode Island, where we unload vessels daily and stay closely connected to the waters that built and sustained our business over the years.
From the very beginning, we've taken a hands-on, vertically integrated approach, working directly with trusted fishing vessels, local fishermen, and global partners. When the squid boom took off in the late '90s, we were ready - and helped put Rhode Island Calamari® on the map. To this day, the Longfin Inshore Squid from our local waters is known as the best in the world.
Our story is about more than seafood. It's about community, too. We're proud to be a major employer in the Port of Galilee and a longtime supporter of Rhode Island's commercial fishing industry. In 2025, we joined the American Seafood Partners family, opening the door to even greater growth while staying true to who we are.
