Everyone loves calamari rings - but have you tried calamari fries? Our calamari strips (or calamari fries) are cut from the same meat as a calamari tube or ring, but from a much larger squid species: in our case, Jumbo Squid (Dosidicus gigas) caught in the southeast Pacific Ocean. Jumbo Squid is listed as a Seafood Watch Good Alternative and considered a Fishery in Progress, actively moving towards a full sustainability rating. 

Foodservice operators love to offer calamari fries appetizer to tempt those who love rings and are curious to try something a little different. Fast-casual operations love calamari strips as a high-protein, omega-3 option for wraps and salads. As our calamari fries are individually quick frozen (IQF), they're ideal for a variety of operations and easy to use.
