The squid selected for our Chef Ready line is cleaned and frozen very quickly after harvest. This saves the freshness and shelf life for the end user, instead of wasting it in the supply chain.
Chef Ready is then perfectly thawed and packed in our own facility in Johnston, Rhode Island, and shipped out for use. Chef Ready has a shelf life of around five days, so it’s perfect for operators who move a lot of product and want only the best!
